Eco Tip : Did you know that on average a regular household uses about 4 makeup pads every day, rounding up to around 1,500 per year ? And that is at the low end… To get a quick picture on the impact this everyday item has on our waste management, multiply that by the number of households in your own neighborhood, and you will see how humongous this adds up to, especially considering that make-up pads, cleaning pads and other hygiene product are designed to withstand use and not fall apart while getting wet or torn, which will translate into years before the item will eventually biodegrade, if ever. So start switching your single use staples for reusable ones and make a difference for the health of our planet.
